Demofy vs Arcade
Arcade publishes an interactive walkthrough you record by hand and charges per seat. Demofy films the app itself and publishes a video. What each one costs, what each one is for, and where Arcade is the better answer.
What each one is
- Arcade
- Arcade captures your product with a browser extension and publishes a clickable walkthrough a viewer drives themselves, with video export on the paid tier.
- Demofy
- Demofy drives the product itself from a URL and one line of intent, and publishes a narrated video file.
What Arcade costs
| Plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 seat, 1 published demo and 1 published video, 200 AI credits a month |
| Growth | $50 per seat / mo | $42.50 per seat billed annually. Unlimited published demos, 800 AI credits a month, MP4 and GIF export, custom branding |
| Enterprise | Custom | Annual, with an AI-credit allowance quoted per contract. HTML capture, multiple teams, SSO |

What Demofy costs
Pro is US$29 a month, or US$290 a year — 2 months free. It is per workspace rather than per seat, so the fifth person on the team costs what the first one did. Everything below Pro is free, forever — a guest makes a finished 1920 × 1080 video with no account and no card, and it is a file you can download, share and embed. A free render closes on a small “Made with Demofy” card, which is one of the things Pro takes off. The full plan table is on the pricing page.
Where Arcade is the better answer
- The output is interactive. A viewer clicks through at their own pace, and Arcade can branch, show a call to action and collect a form — none of which a video can do.
- The extension records whatever you can reach in your own browser, including flows Demofy cannot drive on its own.
- Step-level analytics: which step a viewer stopped on, per demo, across a whole library.
- A much larger integration surface, and demo collections and custom share domains on the enterprise tier.
Where Demofy is the better answer
- Nobody performs the demo. You give a URL and a sentence; the flow is discovered, filmed and narrated without a person clicking through it.
- A finished demo is a stored plan, so the same demo can be shot again against the changed product — and a capture that dies on a moved element is re-shot once by itself.
- Every re-shoot is a new version beside the old one. Nothing is overwritten and links already shared keep working.
- One price for the workspace. Adding a teammate does not add a bill, and there is no credit meter to run out of.
The part that does not flatter us
For a single person who wants an interactive walkthrough with a form at the end, Arcade’s free tier does something Demofy has no version of, and its paid tier does it much better. Demofy makes a video; if a video is not what you needed, the price comparison is beside the point.
Which to pick
Choose Arcade when the artefact you need is a clickable tour a prospect drives. Choose Demofy when you need a narrated video and you expect to remake it every time the UI moves.
Neither table settles it. Paste your own URL and watch what comes back — that takes less time than reading this page did, and it costs nothing.
