What Demofy costs
Pro is US$29 a month, or US$290 a year — 2 months free. It is per workspace rather than per seat, so the fifth person on the team costs what the first one did. Everything below Pro is free, forever — a guest makes a finished 1920 × 1080 video with no account and no card, and it is a file you can download, share and embed. Where Screen Studio is the better answer
- It is the best-looking output in this list, and it is not close. Motion, framing and cursor easing are its whole design.
- It is cheaper than Demofy on every plan, and dramatically cheaper billed annually.
- It runs locally, so nothing you record leaves your machine — the answer for a product you cannot expose to a hosted browser.
- It records any application, not only a web app that answers at a URL.
Where Demofy is the better answer
- It runs anywhere a browser does. Screen Studio is macOS only, so half a team cannot use it at all.
- Nobody performs the demo, and nobody re-performs it: the flow is discovered from a URL and one line of intent, and re-shot from the stored plan when the UI moves.
- Narration, captions, a transcript and a written guide come out with the video rather than being recorded or written afterwards.
- The output is produced by a service, so a demo can be made by somebody who does not have the app, the machine, or the product open.

On price and on picture quality, Screen Studio wins outright — $9 a month billed annually for the most polished screen recordings in the category. If you are on a Mac and you enjoy making the recording, this comparison has an easy answer and it is not Demofy.
