Pro, and what a lapse takes
What Pro adds, why it is priced per workspace rather than per seat, and exactly what happens to your videos if you cancel.
One paid plan, at US$29 a month or US$290 a year — 2 months free on the annual. Everything else in the product is free forever, guests included.
Those are the US dollar figures. Pro is sold in 9 currencies, and the pricing pages and the checkout quote you in yours wherever they can tell which it is:
- US Dollar (USD): US$29 a month, or US$290 a year
- Canadian Dollar (CAD): CA$41.99 a month, or CA$419.99 a year
- Euro (EUR): €25.99 a month, or €259.99 a year
- British Pound (GBP): £22.99 a month, or £224.99 a year
- Australian Dollar (AUD): A$42.99 a month, or A$424.99 a year
- Brazilian Real (BRL): R$154.99 a month, or R$1,549.99 a year
- Mexican Peso (MXN): MX$519.99 a month, or MX$5,199.99 a year
- Japanese Yen (JPY): ¥4,700 a month, or ¥47,000 a year
- Philippine Peso (PHP): ₱1,899 a month, or ₱18,999 a year
Where your currency is not on that list, prices are shown in US dollars and the page says so.
What Pro adds
- High and Ultra capture — 2.5K and 4K renders
- Your own brand colour, as a generated backdrop on every video
- Your own narration voice, on every video the workspace makes
- No “Made with Demofy” card at the end
And what free already is:
- 3 demos a day as a guest, 10 with a free account
- Standard capture — 1920 × 1080, the full pipeline
- The step editor — retype a line, trim a beat, move the camera, add sound
- Projects, sharing and embedding — free forever
That is the complete list on both sides. There is no seat count, no minutes cap, no watermark on the free tiers except the outro card, no export restriction and no feature that unlocks at a higher number of videos.
It belongs to the workspace, not to you
This is the thing to get right before buying, because it is the support ticket the design invites.
The subscriber is the workspace. Two members of a Pro team both get Pro, and a video's resolution stops being a function of who was on shift that day. The corollary is the half people assume the other way round: your personal Pro does not follow you into a team workspace. You can spend it in your own workspace and nowhere else.
There is no separate "individual" plan, because there does not need to be one: your personal workspace is an organisation of one that you own, so buying Pro for yourself and buying it for the team are the same purchase against a different workspace.
The upgrade page names, in its heading, which workspace it is upgrading.
Who may buy
Owners and admins. A plain member sees the plan and no button, is told who to ask, and is offered their own personal workspace where they are the owner by construction.
The customer portal — where a card is changed and a plan cancelled — gets the same rule, because a payment provider has never heard of Demofy's roles and will not second-guess whoever opens the link.
What a lapse takes, exactly
The feature, never the data. This is worth reading in full because it is the question people ask before they subscribe rather than after.
- Every video you already made stays. In the library, at the resolution it was captured at, downloadable, and playable at every link you already shared. Nothing is re-encoded, re-watermarked or hidden.
- Your brand colour and your chosen voice are kept. The rows are not deleted. New videos fall back to the house backdrop and the house voice, and re-subscribing brings yours straight back with no re-entry.
- New videos get the outro card again, and cannot be captured at High or Ultra.
- A re-render of an old Ultra demo reads the tier from its stored plan, so it comes back at Ultra without asking anything of a payment provider. A re-shoot buys a new capture and is gated at today's plan.
The settings card says which of your kit fields is currently being dropped, beside the field. A colour silently swapped for the house one is a support ticket; a colour that says "not applied on this plan" is a decision you can make.
Cancelling
From the customer portal, linked on the plan card. Cancelling takes the Pro features off new renders and takes nothing else.
The one thing that is not a paid lever
Anti-blocking. If a site refuses our exploration, Demofy retries once through a different exit address on its own. There is no control for it, it is not sold, and it is not a plan feature — a site blocking us is our problem, and charging for our own reputation would be charging for a defect.
Billing being unavailable never blocks a free demo
The gate short-circuits before it opens a socket for an unpaid request, so an outage at the payment provider cannot stop a guest's first video. A paid request during an outage is refused rather than granted: a timeout that handed out Ultra would make the gate a suggestion anybody defeats by failing one request.
